Rapidinho!!!

Rapidinho!!!

Okay so I don't have much time to write this week but here are some highlights of what happened over the past 7 days:

- Our service project with Oswaldo was a success and we had tons of people come to tear up his front porch while me, Sister Rasera and an irmã single-handedly dejungled the whole backyard. And as if the service wasn't reward enough in and of itself, we took home a trash bag FULL of wild spinach and have been (and will continue) eating it for daayysss.

- We had a special Stake Conference with Elder Claudio R.M. Costa yesterday and wow was it a good one! His wife spoke about how because of the Priesthood, she knows who she is and what the Lord expects from her. He based his talk on President Monson's talk from last conference and about how even though it might of seemed short, there are SOO many things that we could learn from it. I also had the super special opportunity to translate the conference for Sister Broadbent's friend from home who was visiting this week and wow let me tell you, translation on the spot is no joke!

-We went to our 80 yr old investigator Jaime's house this week and we were waiting for him to open the door and I noticed something on his arm and I poked Sister Rasera and was like "umm... did he get a tattoo?" and she was like ".....yep...." and that's the story of how you really can't judge a book by its cover.

Finally met with our amiga Vânia this week and we read 3 Nephi chapter 11 with her and wow it was so wonderful and she asked us, "This life is so precious and wonderful, it can't just end and everything be over when we die right? It doesn't make sense?" And we had the wonderful privilege to share with her that of course that wouldn't make sense! We're children of an Eternal God!! And we shared with her the message of the plan of salvation and of the possibility of living with God and her family in an eternal state of happiness one day and invited her to be baptized so that she could realize that wonderful goal, and she accepted! Woo hooooo!!!!

Im so grateful for the gospel in my life and for having a loving family that has helped me to learn and grow and become who I am today. Love y'all lots and hope ya have a great week!!!
